Show Notes

Perhaps one of the most important bands in extreme metal. From their avant-garde beginnings to their thrash-infused later output, they have blazed their own unique path. Their Slaughter of the Soul record influenced a whole new sub-genre of metal (for better or worse) and their music seems as vital now as when it was released. At The Gates are a band that are well overdue for an episode spotlight.
