1986. This is the year of thrash. Slayer, Metallica and Megadeth all put out what many see as their quintessential records, King Diamond goes solo and Repulsion erupt on the scene. Not to mention hidden gems like Sepultura's Morbid Visions and Infernal Majesty's None shall Defy continue to broaden metal's ever-diversifying cannon.
