Show Notes

We’re back to Sweden again, but this time with the well know, yet often overlooked Hypocrisy. Formed in 1990 after a stint in Florida with Malevolant Creation, the Tägtgren-helmed machine has churned out 11 full length albums. Some better than others, but some haven’t been given the proper attention due to several turds in a row. Beyond Hypocrisy, Peter Tägtgren has an impressive producer resume, with the likes of Dimmu Borgir’s Enthroned Darkness Triumphant, Immortal’s At The Heart of Winter & Celtic Frost’s Monotheist among others. After a slump in the early 2000s, Hypocrisy are back with a renewed vigor and a back to basics approach.
