Not often can you say that a band sounds like nobody else. Voivod are one of the rare cases where it's true. Formed in 1982 in Canada, Voivod have run the gamut of extreme metal styles, but have alway retained a very unique dissonance and mythology that are distinctly their own. Voivod scholar and friend of the show, Jeff Wagner join us this episode to discuss the first chapter of this truly crucial band.
