Show Notes

Before the retro-Thrash revival of the 2000's, there were a handful of death metal bands channeling the genre's energy and aesthetics. Witchery brought elements from Teutonic thrash, NWOBHM and Mercyful Fate, while keeping the barbarity of death metal. Featuring members of Satanic Slaughter, Seance, The Haunted, Opeth and Mercyful Fate, Witchery is a virtual who's who of metal royalty.
