One of the most crucial influences on the Swedish death metal scene of the late 80s, Autopsy pulled in elements of doom, hardcore, rock n roll and death metal to create a sound that was all their own. Being that they were an anomaly in the underground, they didn't get the attention they deserved at the time, but in retrospect, they are one of the most important bands in the genre.
